The local cattle herd gazing on campus. When students say that there is nothing around our campus, I say, what about the cattle? They frequently wander out of their pasture, and roam around behind the fence, grazing on grasses, investigating our unfinished library. On the weekends, they appear on our road, staring and then startled, they run away. At night, and in the morning, you can hear a low moaning. Or a long cry as a calf might be separated from its mother.
